Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
A query entered in a sponsored search tool may be sent to the provider operating that tool. Do not submit sensitive personal data unless you have reviewed that provider's policy.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send a message through an available contact method, we may receive the details you choose to provide and use them to respond. Do not send confidential court papers or protected identifiers.
Data We Gather Automatically
Standard server and analytics records may include an IP address, browser and device type, referring page, viewed pages, approximate location, and timestamps. These records help maintain security and understand general use.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies or similar technologies may support basic functions, analytics, and third-party search features. Browser controls can limit cookies, though some features may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Information may be used to operate and secure the site, answer a message, measure traffic, diagnose faults, prevent misuse, and meet legal duties. We do not use a visitor's activity to alter an official Wayne County court record.
No Court-Record Data on File
Wayne County Court Docket does not maintain the official case files described in its articles. Circuit and General Sessions records remain with the Circuit Court Clerk, Chancery and probate records with the Clerk and Master, and municipal files with city clerks. Tennessee court-record access is governed in part by Supreme Court Rule 34 and applicable law.
Third-Party Search Partners
Sponsored tools are controlled by outside providers with their own collection, retention, pricing, and privacy practices. Information entered there is subject to the provider's terms, not solely to this policy.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Wayne County, Tennessee court, clerk, or other external sites. Their privacy and security practices are independent, and a link does not make us responsible for them.
Who Might See Your Data
Service providers may process limited data needed for hosting, security, analytics, communications, or sponsored tools. Information may also be disclosed when law requires it, to protect rights or safety, or during a lawful business transfer.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed secure. Limit the personal information you send.
Users Under 18
This resource is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from users under 18. A parent or guardian may contact us about information submitted by a minor.
Your Data Rights
Depending on applicable law, a user may ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal information held by this site. Those requests cannot change a Tennessee court record. Official-record requests go to the custodian under the Tennessee Public Records Act, Tenn. Code Ann. ยง 10-7-503, Rule 34, and other applicable access rules.
Updates to This Policy
This policy may change as site practices or legal requirements change. A revised effective date will identify the current version.
